ReferNet Spain

The State Foundation for Training in Employment (Fundae) renews its role as ReferNet's national partner in Spain, for the period 2020-2023, role that it has held since 2016. 

The appointment of Fundae as national partner is the result of a public call, published by CEDEFOP, to which those entities applying to coordinate the network in each country can submit their proposals.

Fundae has the support of of the State Public Employment Service (Servicio Público de Empleo Estatal - SEPE) and the National Institute of Qualifications (INCUAL), and has been collaborating with a consortium made up of other entities involved in vocational education and training research, belonging to the private sector and within social dialogue.

In addition, each member state has a National Representative, approved by CEDEFOP, who supports and validates the work at national level. In the case of Spain, this role is assumed by the State Public Employment Service, who takes over from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training for this new period.

Other public bodies collaborate in the different tasks and activities developed by this network.
